Daske and Verna sisters

When we discovered that our dog howled like a madman listening to Moog records, especially those of the Lighthouse Keeper, we had him perform every time friends came to visit us.

The sisters Donatella and Carla Alberta Verna  and the dog Daske, in the eighties.

Don Giuseppe
Don Giuseppe

I think I did something significant, which remained with me, in eighty-six, when in San Martino di Venezze we  founded the association of alcoholics anonymous. We have recovered several people.

Don Giuseppe, chaplain, class nineteen hundred and sixty-one

Andrea
Andrea

A very important year was nineteen hundred and ninety-one, because dad finally found his girlfriend. I am happy because then maybe I can have a little brother or sister.

Ezmira
Ezmira

One year I will not forget was nineteen hundred and eighty-three. My father had a quarrel with those in the ministry, where he had gone to ask for work for us, and for saying that in Albania there was no justice in Albania, he did four years in prison.

Ezmira, housekeeper, class nineteen hundred and sixty-four.

Moreno
Moreno

In nineteen hundred and sixty-six I was part of a small neighborhood gang and I was met at the police station together with another, for a theft that happened in the parish. After his interrogation they wanted to detain me, like this, without any evidence. But my friend's father, who had accompanied us, opposed it decisively and got me to go with them.

I owe a lot to that man, maybe I would have become a criminal. Moreno, a worker in charge of machine maintenance, class nineteen hundred and fifty-two.

Mustafa
Mustafa

I have no memories of my past, nothing.

Mustafa, a street vendor, class nineteen hundred and forty-seven.

Remigio
Remigio

The year that mattered most to me was certainly nineteen hundred and sixty-one, when I decided to start my own business. So from a simple employee I became one of the most important Italian producers of brustoline, lupins and pistachios.

Remigio, dried fruit producer, class nineteen hundred and twenty-three.

Susanna
Susanna

There have not been very  important years in my life, except nineteen hundred and ninety-one when my daughter was born. The moment she came out was beautiful, there are no words to describe it.
